Tasty Indian Bistro Abbotsford

This is a flagship location for the Tasty Indian Bistro brand.

Located in a former purpose built office building, we converted this building into a full service restaurant. The conversion included an addition to the existing building (enclosed patio and extended on the south end to accommodate requirements for the kitchen and of course a major interior renovation. We were fully involved in both exterior and interior design in addition to acting as prime consultant on this project.

Custom designed terrazzo leads guests into the entry and the beautiful terrazzo patterns wind their way throughout the interior of the restaurant. Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is featured at the entry and interior and patio bars anchor the space. Operable glass partitions fully opens on the north side of the building which allows the inside of the restaurant to flow into the patio. We also used the Nanawall system to separate the interior and patio bars during non operational or non peak hours. Elements of this restaurant pay homage to the original Tasty Indian Bistro in Delta and the second location in Yaletown. We were super excited to bring new details and key pieces to the flagship location.

All millwork, terrazzo flooring, seating were custom designed by our team. We were involved in selections and coordination of feature lighting from Delhi, India and beautiful semi precious tables from Jaipur, India. It is truly a great pleasure to collaborate and work with artisans and craftspeople from India and Canada.

Pride and love of Punjabi culture are showcased throughout Tasty Indian Bistro.
