What happens when four friends from high school decide to turn a long-time passion for beer into a business?

Our clients landed an old Tack Shop in the Brookswood neighbourhood of Langley, BC. We were tasked to create a layout to include a functioning brew house, bar with temperature-controlled keg storage, seating area, washrooms, and mezzanine – all within 1450 square feet. The bar and keg storage are purposefully located to allow for future expansion (fingers crossed!).

Limited resources were used skillfully. We incorporated warm materials and textures to contrast the stainless steel tanks. The result is a cozy neighbourhood Brew and Tasting Lounge that caters to locals and is a destination for craft beer connoisseurs.
