Brodeur’s Bistro - A Bold and Playful Take on a Classic French Bistro

When a beloved French bistro, inspired by the flavours of Louisiana and Montreal, relocated to a larger space in Langley, BC, we had the privilege of shaping its new home from the ground up. From initial space planning to custom design details, we worked closely with the Ownership team to bring their vision to life.

The result? A rich, layered space that blends warmth, craftsmanship, and whimsy. Vibrant wallcoverings, playful patterns, and custom lighting set the tone, while a handcrafted, cast-pewter bar top anchors the lively atmosphere. Brass, beautiful woodwork, wrought iron and classic mosaic tiles intertwine to create the restaurant’s eclectic charm.

Designed to accommodate 280 guests, the layout balances intimacy within a spacious setting. Seating is both luxurious and inviting, featuring a mix of booths, banquettes, and locally crafted chairs, all strategically planned around a central feature bar. Solid walnut tables, bar stools and chairs were fabricated by local artisans. The private dining complete with bold floral prints, mischievous monkeys and a neon fleur d’lis, adds a sense of fun to the dining experience.

This warm, casual setting provides the perfect backdrop for Brodeur’s Bistro’s signature dishes-Montreal smoked meats, Cajun-style jambalaya, ribs, and classic Cordon Bleu-offering guests a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
